You're free to shoot back, and troll was probably a bit harsh, yes...but it's a funny picture, hahaha. But still, you're being too harsh. Really? Putting words in his mouth? That's pretty lame, and rather immature. I haven't done that since middle school, except to close friends when I was...

Lol, I was joking around, too. I just felt like playing on your post, Electro.

We weren't before, Electro Freak? You said it was their business practices that made you not want to deal with them.

    That's a violation of Apple's EULA! =O! (Putting OS X on non-Apple hardware.)

I will never own a laptop if I have to pay more than $100 for it. Even then, I still won't. Perhaps, something like the HTC Shift or Advantage. In a couple years, we'll have hand-helds as powerful as my desktop.

Welcome to the future of laser technology!

Because a photon has such a small amount of mass (if really any), that it would take a RIDICULOUS amount of light energy to get any real results, and you'd need incredible surface area, big metallic sales, basically.

Can't write iPhone/iPod apps on a PC, Apple hasn't (and probably won't) released an SDK for Windows.

Apple vs. Microsoft, an objective 'debate'...mostly objective

Now, now, play nice! One of the other things is that, going back to what Electro Freak said, OS X isn't anything special. It's the prettiest OS I've ever seen, but that doesn't mean it's better. Case in point: YouTube - Miss Teen South Carolina Furthermore, they didn't even write their own...

No flaming. This wasn't REALLY bad, but calm down. Say stuff like, "Your points really don't seem valid, and here's why..." But in truth, he made a couple of solid points. The first of which is that his Windows machine is faster. For the $1200 price tag, I could buy a larger screen, faster...

Viruses are a threat, as stated in my original post, even if a small one. Apple's Safari is still the most vulnerable web browser. And also, I often enjoy trying to find and install drivers, etc, because it gets me thinking and I learn. Macs don't teach you, Microsoft does...they teach you to...

Apple vs. Microsoft, an objective 'debate'...mostly objective

First of all, I'm just going to say, I'll never own a Mac, for four simple reasons: Troubleshooting your own issues on a Mac is harder than on Windows, I like building my own computers from scratch, Windows systems are far less expensive for better specs, and I like computer games that just...

    Aw, shoot...

I thought, though, the purpose of the diode in the driver was to provide reverse-current protection, in which case almost any diode should work.
