The problem with having them metered is that ther have to find the lasers first. There are tons of lasers shipped every day, have fun distinguishing those packages from others.

Considering there is usually a bunch of IR coming from those cheap 532nm's, I suggest you invest a bit in a laser with an IR filter installed. The safety goggles are good, but they won't block the IR coming from it.

You don't just use glasses for the video, you use them whenever you're using the laser inside of your house. I even use glasses for my 40mW 532 when burning (or at least trying to). It's plain stupid not to use them for a laser that powerful.
