    Image size in your posts.

It's really easy to download an imagine resizer, there are tons of them for free. I don't bother looking at posts with pics that take up the whole screen.

    A140/A-type 140 Laser Diodes (followup)

Re: WTB: A140/A-type 140 Laser Diodes Buy bubble mailers from amazon and antistatic baggies. Don't use plastic bags or containers. Also, 4k hours is pretty high, especially considering you are selling them at double what you bought them for. I would reconsider that.

    List of projectors containing diodes

I don't really think there needs to be a thread on this when there are threads on every projector, both in the vets section and at PL.

    A140/A-type 140 Laser Diodes (followup)

Re: WTB: A140/A-type 140 Laser Diodes I would say the A's are <445nm. I have one or two builds still using A diodes and they are pretty darn purple compared to anything else. Wish I still had some laying around I could hook you up with :/

At under $3, what the hell

^but why bother when you can get overspec pens for 3$ a piece that aren't 10mw green and 80mW ir?

Styropyro 5 mW to 200mW mod help

Not in a module the size of those cheapo chinese things.

Styropyro 5 mW to 200mW mod help

Also it should be noted that your "200mw" module won't be anywhere near 200mw. You would have been better off getting one from fasttech for 5$, they are the exact same thing. And you would have probably been easier off buying an empty pen host, they are sold by a lot of Chinese sellers on eBay.

    What Determines Laser Reliability/Durability?

That's what mass produced junk gets you, unfortunately. If you can use lower powers and different wavelengths, try these. if you search for the, you can find 50-100 packs for dirt cheap. They are low power, 5V input, relatively low output (someone metered some once, and found some do almost...

PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please sub

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please Or you could get the same thing with an additional blue diode and have a semi decent RGB unit for the same price. Just search "rgb laser" on ebay.

Power and Water, how often do you have an outage?

That's another thing the UK has done right- run their power lines underground (IDK what other countries do this, I just know the UK does). More expensive, but less power outages. We don't get power outages too often, we do get some crazy wicked storms though (and the occasional tornado). The...

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please 1 mm at aperture though. But yea you're right, I thought they were complete modules.

GB | 515nm Diodes - Payments Stage Starts at 10th July

Unfortunately, this is why I dropped out of this GB. No offense Eitan, but it seems the GB's you run are pretty consistent...They take much longer than expected, and there are loads of people in the dark the whole time about info/tracking/etc. At least these are available on ebay now.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please A gold surface is a good indicator that they are meant for CO2 lasers. Could be wrong, but I doubt it :p Oh. Looked at the datasheet...8mrad. No thanks!

    NUBM07E 465nm 2.9W Diode Test (Hitting 470nm+)

Well like i said, filling it with compound does absolutely nothing. But that's fine if you have a copper piece touching the back of the diode, as long as said copper piece makes good contact to the module (i.e. if you have a mm between the slug and the rear aluminum module and it is filled with...

    NUBM07E 465nm 2.9W Diode Test (Hitting 470nm+)

How much filled? Heatsink compound isn't literally heatsink compound, its meant to fill very tiny areas between surfaces for a solid connection. If you just dumped a bunch of compound in a big empty space, all you did was waste a bunch of money.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please Have you had one before? I think I may get one. I have a handful if blitz linears left that would be perfect for these. If someone buys one and does some power test on it, I may give you a cookie (or if you...

**Ebay Blacklist Thread** Post untrusted sellers!

Orrrr not. Ive bought from sellers that other people have had problems with and vice versa. There's very very few sellers that actually need to flagged as to prevent others from buying from them. Ebay has a rep system for a reason.
