Why not using TEC under head? You can make it more stable using constant temperature.

It might be a challenge removing it without special tools. I had exactly same laser and I wanted to extract the diode. I got it out but it got decanned, I used thinnest possible screwdriver(get it between diode and brass heatsink) and gentle hammer push and did the job done. It’s on your risk...

I was able to go through 5 of these units and none of them were TEM00, I don’t think yours gonna drop in power, do you have LPM to measure the power? I got this tiny crystal and I see no power drops here. Let’s hope to see some more units in the future. I guess we have to ask our Chinese guy...

They are case negative. It makes so many trouble putting them into host. Right pin is positive.

They will repair. I’ll tell how much it will cost later. I’ll ask them to inspect driver too, because that might be a case it died.
