Gotta agree with Swami on that. It's only in the movies. Your phone does most of the pinging anyway, and it can only be pinged back if you've got it on and connected via some network. Granted, a lot of phones don't have removable batteries, so it's possible that a skilled malicious party...

Haha. Yep. That's a big concern too. May as well get some orders in at a good deal to make sure they're processed and get to you well before then. Chinese New Year will be a concern in February. ;)

Just a general FYI. 11/11 is the biggest Chinese shopping holiday that we really don't see much of in the western world. Good time to get good deals if you guys need anything from over there. I'm going to order some electronic components and little tools.

99% sure I've got a copy on my other PC. It's packed up right now, but its the one I use for printing. ;) I'll check this weekend.

I wish I could have prepared more. If I just had the DSLR ready to go and the laser mount, it'd be a lot nicer. Hopefully there will be some more fog or snow soon so that I can get a much better view. The background of the photo would have been awesome if you could see it. :yabbem:

I totally woke up at like 2:30 AM when my heater stopped heating, and i was surprised to see one of the very few instances of fog we get in the area. The air is usually dry and pure enough to make a huge difference in beam visibility vs other places, so it was a rare chance. Grabbed the 6 lasers...

Re: FS: Custom Laser Warning Labels BATCH 2 No worries Paul. Glad they got to you! One thing to note is that if you want to give them some extra protection for pocketing and etc, you may want to cover them with some clear tape or laminate. I'm going to keep making them as long as I've got...

No worries pal. I've got a different ink set coming in and some modifications to do with my other printer, so I probably have a few weeks before I'm ready to make the next batch. Definitely looking forward to some new beamshots though. :)

Yep. It's unfortunate, but that's the side effect of having free internet services. Even turning off a lot of tracking features on your accounts really don't help if you want to avoid it. The only real way to prevent datamining is to completely leave the internet. VPNs and proxies really won't...

Yep, that was a scam. Even if it did work, you couldn't get a close shave like a blade gives, and then you'd have burnt hair to smell all day. I can understand the desire to have something that won't cut you, but why not just use regular cheap hair clippers if you don't want a close shave?
