Re: GB | 515nm Diodes
I know. Comment stands.
If someone else wants to test a diode after they've received theirs and share the results, I say go for it. But I don't see any reason to complicate the GB itself with anything like that. No reason to create extra steps or potential for delay.
Re: GB | 515nm Diodes
Boo to that suggestion. Don't hold up sending them out to wait on testing. Let people test their own if necessary once they get them, but I don't particularly want my diode held up waiting for testing that isn't important to me.
I 3D printed this prototype, and it's far too big for comfort. It feels bulky. Needs some shrinking.
I've got a new revision in the works that slims down quite a bit, and I'm hoping will feel more comfortable. If so, ok do a plastic print build, and see how it works (no real duty cycle beyond a...
Lol, welcome to the world of ordering clothes from Asia. I'll never do that again. Their sizing is entirely different than ours. An XL in China is similar to a medium in North America. Not kidding.

Why not go totally unique, and do a form factor that differs from the norm. I like my Photino hosts a lot. You could do a host that was sort of a scaled up version of that concept, so that it was easier to use, and maybe took a standard LiPo size.

Wow! First and foremost, thank you for such thorough testing. You really put a lot of work into that torture test. I'm really grateful. It's neat to see something you've designed "on paper" / "in your head" (ie...
