Silverfire, nice review with great pics! Thank you! About the loose shutter, can it be untwisted off the laser completely? If so, maybe Teflon tape on the threads will make it tight enough to stop the accidental turning problem.

ATprotector, Thanks for the great review! Regarding SKYlasers, I read somewhere the Handheld series (HL) had somewhat flimsy power buttons. The LPF model seems to have nice solid power buttons. How about the power button on the portable PL model? Thank you.

Your measured values come out to 1.6 times more and 2.6 times more IR. Thank you for that info. I also suspect the wikipedia efficiency numbers do not take into account shoddy manufacturing practices so are probably the highest efficiency numbers we would likely see at best.
