    Handheld Co2 Laser Project

I think that most green lasers use an infrared diode and a frequency doubler. I wonder if you could do something similar with your co2 laser and get a visible green beam in the 10 to 20 watt range?

Any knife fans in here, specifically OTFs?

Wow nice collection. Is the spinner a Paragon?

Protech makes some cool autos too. I have a Godfather and one where they collaborated with Emerson

I love Kershaw knives, but the ones I have don’t have blades that look as nice as yours :-) I still carry the first one I bought a number of years ago with a serrated blade

I’ve never tried to take mine off. I’ve carried it in my pocket with the clip hundreds of times and it’s never snagged even a little

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

Hi, my lasers took 16 days to arrive in USA. I’ve always used red glasses when I use my green and blue lasers but I also bought the 190/540 glasses you’re looking at because I was getting a violet. They work great for the 7 watt blue. I can barely see the spot indoors and not at all outside. The...

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

Ya I’d only order from: https://www.sanwulasers.com/ I wish I’d ordered single mode. That’s my only regret

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

So Sanwu responded very quickly! It turns out the focus issue on the Silver was user error on my part. The machining is so precise that I didn't see the groove in the front to rotate it and focus. What an awesome laser. They're also shipping me new batteries. Great company to buy from!

My Furst Custom laser 7W+ NUBM0E

I bet that 2 watt green makes a beautiful beam

Whoah that’s crazy! I read it but I didn’t understand a lot of it

    Handheld Co2 Laser Project

I was picturing more of a ghostbusters setup

Microtech makes some beautiful OTF double action autos. I EDCd mine today actually

    Sanwu Pocket Laser

If you really want to burn stuff you might consider a 7 watt blue Sanwu Silver. I just got mine today and it’s a beast. Lights wood on fire from 3 feet away with no focusing lens

My Furst Custom laser 7W+ NUBM0E

I’m a little obsessive with safety I guess. I put on my OD 6 goggles even when changing batteries on my lasers.

DIY collimator for 16W IR laser

I just got a Sanwu 7 watt blue and I think I’ve reached my limit of “more power is cool.” I’m glad I got the multi mode button so I can use it on low power to shine at distant trees because on full blast the beam is too bright to look at. I’m certainly intrigued but the idea of a high powered...

    Handheld Co2 Laser Project

Ha that’s great. I want one even if I have to wear a giant backpack full of batteries

    Handheld Co2 Laser Project

Can you focus it and burn stuff? Obviously you’re using IR blocking glasses right? I just got some orange glasses that block violet, green and blue

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

Got my lasers today. So the good: The 7 watt “Silver” blue laser is a beast. Even unfocused it instantly lit a leaf on fire. The 1.4W violet guardian is wicked cool. Pinpoint dot Super fast shipping Beautiful construction The not so good: I ordered two 18650s and two 18350s, but no batteries...

    Handheld Co2 Laser Project

I’d be very interested in buying a handheld carbon dioxide laser, even if it’s the size of a laser rifle

    Sanwu Lasers - Offical thread

Greetings my friend! You’ll be glad you bought from Sanwu. I’ve loved every laser I got from them. My new violet and blue are coming tomorrow. IMHO I would absolutely not shine the laser on anything near you without glasses. I even wear mine while switching batteries. That being said, I feel...
