    FS: Newly-built 130mA PHR-803T 405nm laser in Nebo 1xAA host

Your Avatar is cracking me up! This should sell well, looking at the host size it seems like it would be relatively difficult to build in, compared to other mainstream hosts... I like the rubber grip, bet that feels nice in hand

    Eudaimonium's machine shop

Oh I forgot to ask, will you be offering the SAIK as a heatsink+host combo, or just the heatsink? If it's just the heatsink, I better order my hosts right now, if I want them before I retire

    Legality of chemicals in Canada

I would steer away from Ammonium nitrate if you are only into pyrotechnics. For small amounts (for chemistry), instant cold packs can be used, assuming the kind you have in Canada are Urea instead. some members @ passfire.com may be willing to ship you certain items. The following websites...

Saw my first beam today, didn't want to

^this Or you could scare him away with a bigger, better laser :lasergun: Yelling "mine is bigger than yours!" is optional.

    Fake Ultrafires (UitraFlres)

Wait... they are ripping off batteries that are basically rip offs and rewraps? Whats the point?

    Jayrob on MSN!

Yeah jay should really complain about the obvious infringement on his property...

    Possible driver substitute?

No way in hell I would trust a 25 cent chinese battery protection circuit with a $45 diode.

Cheap handy source for copper heatsinks

Nice idea! I think ill try this method out to make little heatsinks for drivers :)
  12. PersonGuyDude

This is bound to get some reactions

I'd give that "inspector" a big middle finger, and rip apart his paper. "You don't own me, get a real job" etc etc..

Just scored this, what do you think?

Nice, that's a pretty epic score. I'd love to see that WL in person sometime

Rkcstr Test Load to a good home

Ok Jim, ill do that  Arsh1, looks like you get the rkcstr driver. Denson, ill send 6 diodes your way (and a proto-pcb if you need it). Just pm me your shipping info. You can find a circuit for these diodes if you google "diy laser test load" IIRC.

    Eudaimonium's machine shop

Yeah, I have a few of his black focus adapters. I love them in the C6 host, but I was hoping for something that added to the beauty of a saik  Ill probably just hit up flaminpyro.

Rkcstr Test Load to a good home

Hmm, I was hoping for in the US, but I wouldn't mind shipping international (it's rather cheap via USPS First Class international. Please PM your shipping info JimDT7. Arsh1, if you would like 6 of the bare diodes, pm me your shipping info :) I can include some bare prototype PCB if you don't...

    Custom guide rod laser

Yeah, the single mode 445 diodes are only 3.8mm: https://sites.google.com/site/dtrlpf/home/diodes/450nm-pl450-diodes But all the modules that I know of to hold these diodes have a OD of 12mm

Rkcstr Test Load to a good home

Hey guys, I have a Rkcstr test load that I don't need. Ill throw it in an envelope with a stamp to the first person that asks for it (you must have more than 10 posts please). See the specs here: Test Load KIT (AKA Dummy load, unassembled) - $5.75 : rkcstr.com, Micro-Drive and laser diode...
