Hey, I'm really sorry for bringing this thread back up but I still don't get how to install a lasorb. What's the lasorb anode and cathode? Can someone show me an easy diagram or explain 100% ? Its just that I THINK you are supposed to connect it by soldering one of the lasorb pins to a laser...

Ok can I just ask you one more question? I am still wondering whether there are voltage spikes and current spikes that could damage the diode. Do you have any capacitators or extras on your 4 pack of 800mA regulated current IC drivers when hooked up to your 445nm diode?

0.0 Really? Theres a bunch of people who have said if you want the battery negative at the bottom just connect the battery input wire to the case pin so the negative charge can use the host itself as a conductor to the bottom spring. BTW how do you get the wire down to the spring at the bottom...

OH btw quick question dude, what do you do with the case pin? are you going to attach a wire from the power source +V or -V to it? Or are you going to solder the case pin to the negative pin on the diode?
