    Half watt 532nm handheld

Well, I guess that's the end of this laser. EBay listing ended on the 29th and the ending price was $140. It seems the seller hasn't re listed it which is not too surprising. Sometimes great deals like this show up, but they don't last too long from what I've seen. After spending some money on a...

    LAZERER working coupon code?

All I can say is that the 532 I bought from Lazerer a good while ago was a legit 100mw laser with excellent output stability. To be fair, it's output was 90mW green and 7mW IR, so it was a bit under 100mW 532, although still within spec. I don't know what kind of lasers they're selling today...

    LAZERER working coupon code?

This is the 100mW green laser I bought from them a while ago: LZMN - Mini 532nm 100mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer They also sell a 50-80mW 520nm for $60, not too bad a deal. You're right that it is not a laserBTB laser, but it is a true 100mW green laser with no power drop over 10 minutes...

    LAZERER working coupon code?

Where can you find the types of lasers that lazerer sells on ebay or aliexpress for the same price? Lazerer does not sell 301 type lasers and the 100mW 532 I bought from them a few years ago had a near continuous duty cycle with no power drop. I think the lasers that Lazerer sells are a good...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

The output on my XPL-311 150mW just dropped down to around 20-30mW max for no reason. It also warms up a little bit quicker than before. I tried different batteries, and I think the laser is damaged. I don't think we needed any more confirmation that the lasers XPL sells are crap quality, but...

World first high power underwater handheld laser

I'd image that the laser would have a near continuous duty cycle under the water? That's a great advantage of having a purpose-made laser under water; you don't have to worry about heatsinking as much, as the water will act as an excellent heatsink. Awesome laser :)

XPL discussion - the mystery company

If you have a multimeter you can see what kind of current it's pulling.. just don't look into the aperture in case it flashes on. For 150mW it should be something like 650mA. I would agree with diachi that if it heats up with no green or IR light then the diode is probably damaged. I should...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" LOL! That is actually pretty funny. I just sent him a message telling him that the laser is basically dead after only one day. We'll see how he responds. At least it sounds like you got more than one day out of the laser unlike mine :P It is pretty...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" I'm probably gonna do the same soon. I wanna see if I can get one of those 12mm ebay modules in there Did your laser have this same problem? How long did you have it before the flashing started happenkng? Edit: I just took the host apart and the...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" Okay, so after a bit more testing the problem with the laser flashing on and off has become much worse. Now when I rotate the laser it will dim and then shut of completely. It's pretty much unusable now if held a certain way or rotated slightly. And to...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" I think the thing with the type of green lasers that XPL sells is this: Most people who have little to no experience with real quality 532 lasers will feel that they are pretty good, even though they have a large power drop. With all of the 301-303...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" Ehh I think I'll just take the loss on this one. I mean, it's still a bit better than my Sanwu 303, even if only because it has the tail cap switch. It also holds its output a bit better than the 303 at around 80mW, which should be a given based on...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" My XPL-311 finally arrived today after waiting about 3 weeks for the shipping. After a few hours I finally get around to testing it out. I open the package and red box the laser came in, and the first thing I noticed was that the laser was NOT...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" I hope my 311 doesn't have that problem. After buying the Sanwu 303 and a different 301 I'm tired of these cheap green leasers that have a huge power drop once they warm up slightly becoming the norm. I sent a few long messages to XPL explaining that...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" Thanks, hopefully my 311 will arrive soon, I'm eager to test it. It made it to the Chicago ISC on Monday so it shouldn't be too long now :) Edit: I'm also curious, do all of the high power XPL 532s have a TEM01 beam or just some of them? $425 for a...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" Do you happen to know if all XPL-532 lasers have an IR filter installed? I bought a 311. I didn't go with the 301 because I've found all 301-303s to have a severe power drop when warmed up slightly, even my Sanwu 303. I have no experience with XPL...

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" Oh ok. I was confused because you said that it wasn't directly adjustable, and that had me wondering.

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" The 310 host isn't focusable? I'm surprised, because it was listed as being focusable on their site. I hope the 311 is focusable, as that's one of the reasons I bought it.

XPL discussion - the mystery company

Re: XPL discussion - "the miracle company" I went ahead and bought an XPL-311 and we'll see how it does. I messages them and they said it could have problems with the power dropping after 30-60 Seconds just like the typical 301s. Hopefully I get a good one.

GUIDE: Which company should I buy from?

Thanks for the guide. Per your suggestion I went with the 311 host laser from XPL, we'll see how it does. It should hold me over until I buy a solid 532 from BTB later on. I'm also glad to see Lazerer in this guide because even though the last laser I bought from them was back in 2012, it was a...
