My PL TB450 only lases at 300mA. If still possible, test it with more current.

Did you adjusted the focus? Most of 303 lasers are capable of burning, unless you received a true low power one or a defective one. You can try to paint the match with a black pencil, adjust the focus twisting the cap, turn it on and point it to the match head, firstly put it near the aperture...

You can make a driver with your 7805, use the circuit bellow: For the resistor use: I=5/R Since you're not using any good module with heatsink, I recommend about 50mA, just for your tests, what will need a 100R resistor. Good luck! :beer:

Seems one of the Chinese lasers sold everywhere, my mother have one like this, but is purple 405nm, is really very small. For the price is very good, should be close to 100mW (IR+Green).

I seen your video, seems that it starts at TEM01 (a circle split into two) and goes to TEM00 (a perfect round circle), what is desirable. Since your camera gets too saturated, it can be in a shape that your camera can't show. Can you confirm if the dot stays at TEM00?
