Is this battery safe for lasers?

Ahh that makes sense, a single battery. Most of my stuff use two cells in series so the battery current draw is often less than diode current thanks to having to step down the voltage.

JLasers Nano 500mW 520nm Now Available

Nice! I'll take one, pm sent.

Is this battery safe for lasers?

I can't see a 700mW green pulling 3A unless it was a DPSS green using a 3W pump diode. Nevertheless, if the laser does attempt to pull 3A from a battery that can't support it you'll see decreased output from the laser and possible damage to the battery.

Is this battery safe for lasers?

Yes, Vapcells are great for lasers if you respect them. Don't short them, over charge or over discharge them and they will be perfect. When I made my 22W pointer I specifically chose Vapcells for their high discharge rate which was necessary for the laser...

Looks very good! Are these the same hosts a what Sanwu uses?

    Battery amps and brand

Sofirn most likely wont list that, they aren't a high drain cell so it wouldn't be necessary to have it stated. Based off of the discharge curves I wouldn't pull more than 0.5-0.75A continuously from that cell, any more than that and you'll see excessive voltage sag and large hit to capacity...

    Battery amps and brand

For high drain applications stay away from off brands like Sofirn, I'm sure they will be fine in pointers and low power flashlights but if you need power go with a name brand cell like Molicel, Efest or Vapcell to name a few. Check out these tests results I found. By draining the batteries at...

PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please sub

Holy crap! I've purchased from him several times on both ebay and aliexpress without issue so this is very surprising

    JLasers green laser

The only company I know making 505nm diodes is Sharp and they are all single mode laser diodes so the beam will have the usual slightly oval profile with a nice tight projected spot.

Recommend me a laser from Amazon?

If your main goal is beams, blue is cool......... But green is king!!! Our eyes are wildly more sensitive to green than blue so even wildly disproportionally lower powered greens will appear several times brighter and have an easier to see beam than a blue (typical 445nm stuff like you get on...

    Group buy host identification needed!

^I'm always down for some Wicked Lasers stuff. I was broken college student back then, what I wouldn't give to have been able to spend $500 on a WL rather than one textbook that was only good for one semester

For sale Wicked Lasers Photonic Disruptor Pro

A rare gem indeed, though not one of their models I long for. A Sonar however, I would love to have one of those. Any chance you would part with one your Sonars?

    Red laser diode > 2000mw

Who's gonna get one? I'm curious to see if they have managed to source >2W single emitter diodes

    What was your first pointer?

A portable HeNe in the shape of a pen is wild, I would love to have one of those. My first laser pointer was from a pet store made for entertaining pets, although it entertained me more than anything. The day some junk got down the barrel and on the lens ruining it was devastating. I...

    Laserglow Glasses

That picture is a generic/default picture they use for all their goggles. The color of the pair you receive will depend on the wavelength range you chose.

    A huge group of idiots

Jesus thats bad, thats all the hobby needs is a bunch of low lifes like that putting other people in danger and giving lasers a bad name.
