    Laser beam of 30km?

...and at 30 meters high, the horizon is only 19.55 miles away from the tower.

    Recieved my DL HU 400mw

I thought all green DPSS lasers hard a "warm up" phase. My WL E3 starts off low and unstable and after a couple of minutes it reaches its fullest glory.

WL E3 or an optotronics 150mw?+my comments

The wicked lasers E3 is a beast. I like it. dealing with their customer service is comparable to chopping onions non stop, but the E3 is a beautiful device.

    Wicked Lasers

Wicked lasers does take some time to ship, but mine took about a month to replace. Customs denies entry to many of these lasers so don't be surprised if they take your laser and WL has to send you another one. They may have bad costumer service and long waits, but I havent heard of anyone not...

    Green laser questions -- newbie

I just got a really sweet 200mW laser from Wicked Lasers. They have a 100 mW version (100mW with fresh batteries, ~50mW lowest). The have a terrible reputation in this forum because of their long shipping times and less-than-satisfactory customer service. If you do chose to go with Wicked...

I am thinking of buying the WL E3 200mw 405nm violet...

I got one of those. It was great, but it was focused to infinity (not user-focusable) so it didn't burn anything without a magnifying glass and it died after 2 weeks. The quality and finish of the host was amazing enough to almost be worth getting, but I've read that many of the lasers have bee...

@softgel, Do you have a problem with english grammar?

    [noob] Is this legit? [/noob]

Also, burning things up close with a "50mW" (which could be 70mW for all you know) without goggles will probably cause you eye damage pretty quickly just from the light bouncing from the material you're burning.

    [noob] Is this legit? [/noob]

..You should just stay away form lasers until you learn to listen to the veterans. You obviously haven't read much if you think its >100mW that will fuck you up . Above 5 mW, your eyes don't blink fast enough to prevent permanent damage, and even "5mW" laser pointers are not guaranteed to be in...

weird "square" over beam of arctic

I recently noticed that square on my Yobresal build. Weird thing is I never noticed it before. Could it just happen to show up or has it always been there?

Stark Raving Mad (aka Some Stuff I Did At A Place)

I should add, the sound was pretty well done. And I did see several people with ~100-200mW violet and green hand-helds waving them around. I thought about bringing my 405nm but decided that at <200mW it was still a bad idea. Do you agree?

Stark Raving Mad (aka Some Stuff I Did At A Place)

The lasers were pretty mediocre. For the most part I only got to see a few green projectors. One of the less "important" DJ's working at a different stage had a pretty nice setup with red, green and violet. What really made me mad is that they promoted the show to start at 8 and headliner...

Stark Raving Mad (aka Some Stuff I Did At A Place)

Nice! I saw them in Kansas City last month. Been a fan of Infected Mushroom for a while. The best in their genre IMO! The KC venue was also a theatre like the venue in your photos, so I thought maybe I was at that same show. The fact that they're more like a band than just a guy with a computer...

    'Lightsabers' - 1.3w 445nm video

I cant imagine starring at the dot on the [White] snow from such close range. Even lighting a cigarette without goggles would seem like i would do some damage. I own one of these and I wont use it indoors unless I have a safe "laser dump"...when I did look a the dot on the wall cross the room I...
