I had one run happily at 600, then at 700. No problems yet.(only a 30mw increase) I have a couple spare diodes, as they weren't overly expensive, and they are fun little burners. Thanks

Always beautiful. The way the light appears to be curved on a couple photos is very trippy. How do you bend the light ? Unless it's a trade secret. I'd understand if it was. Thanks again for the shared beauty.

Driver set at 4.5. The ball I got from Harbor Freight was listed as fine. Forgot to mention, I then put it on the polishing wheel with lots of old different rouges left on it. I recharged it using green rouge. To be honest, the abrasive ball did all the work Thanks for the compliments :)

Got a 465 diode from DTR. S4X host and SXD driver from SL. Got a little help from Gary at SL. ( Can't say enough good things about Gary @ SL and Jordan at DTR, thanks guys) Got the driver set at 4.5a. Soldered and screwed it together,and voila. New at this putting my own lasers together, but...

Thanks for your answer. I'll turn mine back down. Sorry to hear your died at 600mA. Jordan says not to run em too high. He tests them very throughly and of course is the expert.
