Help me with the best Sanwu lasee

The 7 watt would be your best bet if youre just starting. Dont skimp on safety goggles!

Help me with the best Sanwu lasee

Personally Id go for the 470nm blue, mostly because Teal is my favorite color, and I have enough strong blues, second would be the green since I dont have any strong greens yet, but personally its your choice and you must be safe, for what purpose do you want a high power laser?

Help me with the best Sanwu lasee

What do you want help with? All 3 lasers will burn, The green will appear brightest to the eye, and the blues are just hella powerful. You better invest in some protective eyewear first!

    Testing Laser Safety Glasses

If youre too broke to play with green lasers like me, https://www.survivallaser.com/Eagle_Pair__190-470nm___660-760nm_Laser_Safety_Goggles/p556088_3653083.aspx Get these, they work spectacularly, I have the same ones. I play mostly with 405-450 nm lasers, 50w+. They also protect me from my 636...

Onto Something... (636nm 48W Array Build)

So I need to figure out some kind of lense setup that makes the focal point as far as possible from the output, or near the output but with good divergence

Onto Something... (636nm 48W Array Build)

fiber could be an option, if I converge all the energy into the end of a fiber optic couldnt I technically pump as much wattage through I want through it then terminate it into a simple lense like a cheap commercial pointer lense to get one decent line? Even having a 5 inch beam would be fine as...

Onto Something... (636nm 48W Array Build)

can a beam expander turn shittily collimated light into one confined beam?? (Curious about my knife edged projector arrays that have a focal point that melts glass and zinc..) (edit) I saw your post and the expander only collimated the beams to a further focus point. Is there anyway to...

Smallest 5mw Green Diode Laser for Purchase

Most of the time green light is produced via DPSS in cheap lasers. Im not sure in honesty how green 'diodes work' but its probably the reason so many green lasers start with an infrared beam then split the nm in half to get green.. light harmonics or something.. I dont understand how magic...

    "Greetings All!"

Hiya and welcome to the forums!! I know its probably already answered but I'll give ya my take here as well, though I highly agree with Paul~ Safety glasses, always buy from a reputable manufacturer, the forums should have a list here somewhere maybe, also styro made a good video on this and...

Onto Something... (636nm 48W Array Build)

So just get a concave and a convex lenses and separate them by the sum of their focal distances.. Shine into the smaller concave, get it out the larger convex for a larger beam with better divergence? How does this work if Im wrong or if it can be done better~

Onto Something... (636nm 48W Array Build)

To try and fix the divergence and have a more stable beam?

    Did my diode burn out?

Try a new battery, not much else you can do without further damage and\or voiding the warranty, if any

Onto Something... (636nm 48W Array Build)

After a long dormancy and moving, I finally got to my laser box. After melting a few small zinc discs with my projector arrays, I broke out my red arrays. I got thinkin, broke out the soldering iron, and got to work... I apologize for the shitty camera quality as currently my only electronic...

    Help getting a laser pointer

Would lasic lasers be technically eye safe? Lasers are eye safe under the right circumstances. Such as.. hm, I guess if it's eye safe they don't call it a laser you win
