Not balancing! You cannot use regular Nicholson file to shape glass. For this purpose should be some kind of diamond tools and lubricants, work place must be totally enclosed in case of glass destruction, tools are to be operated remotely. I'm afraid that glass balancing is not for home try...

Nice work, nikokapo! In my first version I've used blank DVD as mirrors. It's possible to split DVD and get acceptable front surface reflective material. After I've discovered acrylic mirror, developed method to work with and perfectly balance round mirrors, and I'm very happy with results...
