I like the look of the Guidesman host. Not too many hosts with side buttons floating around. The button also looks like its a good solid one that has some resistance to it. Cant wait to see what else you heave.

I guess I will need to run a few tests with the flex mod and up the current a bit each time until the diode starts lasing. Also, I thought that the flexmod regulates the voltage so the current stays the same. If one of the LOCs turns into an LED, will it lover the voltage fast enough to...

What's the lasing threshold current of the LOC diode? I'm setting up a flexmod that is driving two LOCs in series, so im planning on multiplying the current by two for the bias setting on the flexmod

I might be interested in getting a set. Ive been wanting to get the 20k set but for only a few bucks more the 30ks are a much better deal.

I harvested one of these by filing away on opposite sides of the heatsink. By grabbing two neighboring corners i was able to bend them down and expose the side of the diode case. There is a small notch on the side between the heatsink and the diode case, so I inserted a small flat bladed...

I finally got around to switching the wires on my SC/Amp setup and that did the trick, now it works perfectly. It looks like the caps on the card I had were reversed, which confused me into soldering to the wrong side. I'll have to wait until I finish assembling my lasers before I can actually...

Does anyone have a dead AMC driver they would be willing to send me? I just need the board to use as a positive contact point for a 405 build I'm working on. If you have a good one you would be willing to sell I'll take it, but a dead one would be preferable so as not to waste a perfectly good...
