It is Here.!!!!! 300mW "635nm" Mitsubishi.....

I got two of these Mitsubishi 300mW closed-can diodes and this weekend ran them at 1100mA in a massive heatsink for a minute just to test. Bright as hell and they suffered no ill effects afterwards. I plan on setting the current at 2 amps and running them in parallel (connected to a FlexModP3)...

It is Here.!!!!! 300mW "635nm" Mitsubishi.....

Going to try it out at first without corrective optics just to test, I am still keeping my LPC-815's in case I want to put them both back...

It is Here.!!!!! 300mW "635nm" Mitsubishi.....

DTR - Was this test done on the 300mw or the 500mw version of the 635nm diode? I just want to be sure because I have two of those on order. I should get them this weekend, can't wait to mount 2 of them with PBS cube in my projector!

Looking for (cheap) Bench Power Supply

YES - They just put the order in and it is a FIVE MONTH wait until the 9600-PS comes back into stock! The only difference between the one I ordered from eBay and theirs is that they have their logo on the case.

Looking for (cheap) Bench Power Supply

If a switching power supply is rated at 30 volts and you need only 3 volts, it's output switches on/off very fast (but at 30 volts each time) to provide the reduced voltage. That's what was explained to me, not very good for sensitive laser diodes...

Looking for (cheap) Bench Power Supply

Sorry, but that link goes to the same exact same item I want (from MPJA's sister website) and they are out of stock of the 9600 PS as well. Thanks DTR! That is the exact 18V 3A model I was looking to purchase - DONE DEAL! You guys are the best! Just ordered one :)

Looking for (cheap) Bench Power Supply

Oh, one more thing. It has to be local here in the USA because all the cheap $70-$80 power supplies I found on eBay have a $70 shipping charge from China! Do not want to pay $140 for a $70 unit ;)

Looking for (cheap) Bench Power Supply

Hello, I purchased one of these LINEAR bench power supplies for my office: 0-18 Volt, 0-3 Amp VARIABLE BENCHTOP POWER SUPPLY 9600 PS Great deal for only $60 and it's perfect for testing laser diodes. The only problem is that now I would like to get one for myself and they are out of stock. I...

1.576W 1576mW Green 532nm Lab Laser **pic HEAVY and video** ***REVIEW ADDED***

Yes, it is listed on the website a 1 watt but everyone I have seen with these report they are over 1.5 watts. I contacted "Fang" at customer support before I purchased (to make sure it was a true ANALOG which it is) and he measured the power at 1600mW with 5 voltS input. I own a LaserBee 2.5...

1.576W 1576mW Green 532nm Lab Laser **pic HEAVY and video** ***REVIEW ADDED***

I just purchased one of these EXCELLENT lasers myself. For $818 with shipping it's not a bad deal for a consistent 1600mW. Let me know if you need me to take apart my power supply and scan images of the parts...

My new 1600 mW Meierlight green analog laser! [Video]

Yep, I was wearing jeans (along with safety glasses) and as long as I kept moving while close to the beam it doesn't smoke them too bad LOL

My new 1600 mW Meierlight green analog laser! [Video]

Um, don't you know that you can change the max levels of the lasers within the software? I plan to turn down most of the power of the green analog when doing full color RGB shows indoors, but I still have the option to go max power when doing green beam shows outside. The best of both worlds...

My new 1600 mW Meierlight green analog laser! [Video]

Huh? No, I currently only have 2 x LPC815's in my RRGB projector but I just ordered a pair of 400mW 638nm reds to replace them. Where does it say 6.5 watts of red?

That's because I own three pairs of them, my girlfriend was wearing that pair but left my place just before I shot the video.
