Hi for some reason the hosts.txt can not be changed to just "hosts" it justs stays in the .txt format.

if you are using a dorcy jr as a host you have to use Dr. lava's flexdrive because that host will use cr123 batteries that has a capacity of 3V to 3.7V in which the flex drive input has to be from 2.25-5V.

On ebay, radioshack or google it. Maybe theres a better type of connector than using a butt connector. I do not know what can else be used instead of them. I understand what you want, you just want sometype of connector to prevent soldering and to exchange just the diode every time you want to...

butt connectors maybe, i think

I just fixed something in the diagram. i forgot to connect the negative pin with the case pin of the diode to the negative of the driver. You could just solder the negative to the case pin (Case pin = Ground) and then to the negative of the driver.

in the diagram the negative pin is going to the ground pin of the diode. and if you want to ground it to the flashlight host casing you have to get a flashlight that is not plastic. Because you dont want a wire going all the way from the driver to the negative side of the battery.

probably is just a 405nm. im also confused, thats like a way to make people do 50/50 desicion and risk it for a very attractive price. And the box of that laser say "Green Laser Pointer".

yes i know that is from 2008 and it seems theres no much reviews about this diode. ill put the link to the video when I get to my other computer.

i saw a video on Metacafe about this diode, I dont know of this is true. Shows it can go up to 500mW and seems with a safe current of 600mA. I looked on ebay that they sell these dvd burners for just 20 dollars. I believe these diodes can be used with rkcstr and flex drivers.

Wow great work, very neat and clean work. whats the name of those connectors that grabs the diode pins? where can i get them or what type or number(inner diammeter or AWG) are they. or is it just electrical tape??
