    Collecting 445 Diode QRCodes/Serials

Here is a H140 diode. Not the best photo. Taken on USB microscope by Intel. Sorry, phot needs to be flipped to get orrientation you guys are using.

New 12X Laser Sled GB (BDR-S06J) $45 in USA!

Glad this was taken care of. Yes, I remember the issue months ago when Lazeerer got those low powered units in.

GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES CLOSED

I'm glad I said something. If anyone wants to look up any info from Pontiacg5 (3.8mm thread). He had mentioned the alloy to me. Pure copper is harder to machine, and may thus be more expensive, if not for the higher costs of the material itself. Also check with Jayrob, I think his "copper" units...

GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES CLOSED

I think I need to add $5 as I did not fill in that block (standard USA shipping), and just paid total due prior to shipping added.

GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES CLOSED

I was at top of list in RED :yabbem: Payment sent now based on Spreadsheet total.:yh: FYI: Don't know where manufacturer is, but I will tell you many manufacturer's refer to Brass as Copper! I doubt it's pure Cu, also unlikely BeCu as I think it is costly. Both hard to macking (relatively), so...

    Collecting 445 Diode QRCodes/Serials

I can take some pics, yes. Do you need the BDR photos, as well as some M series 445? I have just A and M. I did not leap to H yest but with higher qty array I'm considering it. I will liekly hld off with info revealed in A vs M thread here. Just curious what is the 14X? More power than BDR? You...

    Collecting 445 Diode QRCodes/Serials

I was surprised to see no posts since 3/12 This is an excellent effort to gain information about the diodes. May I suggest looking at other diodes including BDR's etc to maybe gain insight into coding information/ coding patterns. I think those LD's have more complex images.

    New 9mm 445 diodes

The diffusion of O2 in or other material out of GaN is very hush hush at LD manufacturing level. I will check again with my sources, and see what I can find out. I have heard of the degrading, but maybe the coatings are sufficient. As far as the green sealant, it's even used on our $2 red...

    New 9mm 445 diodes

A; What Geltec lens are you referring? G-1 , G-2 and Geltec "G-3" are all glass lenses. The Geltec is just a name of the company due to Sol- Gel technique used for some glass forming in 1990's and maybe now. I worked at NRL where this technique was patented, and used to make preforms for fiber...

    A-140 vs. M-140 vs. H1600

I think the work on categorizing the bar- codes is the best effort to see what's going on with diodes. Also the Macro's are invaluable! It's hard to say about the binning going on. LD's are binned, yes, but to what extent for this product line. I hardly think there there are enough customers to...

New Host on the Block ?? Integral TEC and Fan !

@Cyparagon... RE: 4 SS screws leading back to hot side from cold? Ask PTI, but yes, some feedback of heat there. This is a building block with Modifications written all over it. Also Please note: won't fit a 12 mm housing, as it runs into the bolt pattern/ bolt circle of those 4 flex mount...

New Host on the Block ?? Integral TEC and Fan !

Lowered it to $35. PM for details, as not on LPF page at my web site yet. I'd like to see it reviewed. We have made several here (LASER66.com), but don't document too much, and not much time to post. They have been sold as lab units, mostly for holography. I think they would be a nice handheld...

    New 9mm 445 diodes

For wire bond measurement, I ran across some awesome micro photographs of a 658nm open can diode. Anyone remember the thread? The photos were taken on a digital microscope with depth of field adjustment- I think during multiple exposures. Guy was in NE USA , I think. Anyway, he discussed sizes...

Review: 510nm Direct Green Diodes / Build Photos (DGH-N1, DGH-N2)

Here is a low cost Power Technology IQ module we sell: http://laserpointerforums.com/f65/new-host-block-integral-tec-fan-53054.html We plan on a 510nm build & ebay sale for Holography using one of these. I will post bare IQ components soon to the LPF page on LASER66.com (see Signature). Will

TEC Basics - Do they need to be driven?

RHD I have run them using LM317 type drivers. One can buy fancy controllers with +/- 0.01 deg C regualtion capability- closed loop. I have current limited the units at lower voltages, say 3 or 5 volts. Depending on the application, you can kick in some current to remove a general amount of heat...

"First Look" at The 500mW Mitsubishi ML501P73 635nm/638nm diode is in.!

Re: The 500mW Mitsubishi ML501P73 635nm/638nm diode is in Let me know if you need a TEC, LAZEERER. I have those CPU types, as well as the high- end Power Technology Modules with Fan & TEC we discussed. I was also going to bring up the 650-G lenses.

    470nm diode

The newer 80mW 450 diodes can be run at 200mW per the manufacturer (via voice discussion with Sales Manager). I have one, but it's just an inventory part. If they say it can go to 200mW, a good LPF rule would say it can go to 300 or 400mW pushing it. It must be a better wafer/ die. Specs are...
