Re: 300mW red burner copper sink $140
Jim, I can start you a build which would be ready to ship by the end of the week if thats of any use to you. I only tinker in the evening in my trusty shed so can only help a limited number of enthuasists
Re: 300mW red burner copper sink $140
Paypal is Good.
- I take it your familiar with how to safely handle lasers and the necessary precautions? One slip with one of these lasers could make you or someone else blind for life. Its a big responsibility.
Re: Custom built lasers:Red/blu ray - choose your
PM sent. Standard host as shown in this thread with copper sink and red burner power set to 280mW is $140 shipped anywhere in 4-10 working days.
Re: Custom built lasers:Red/blu ray - choose your
A 250mW blu-ray? I'm not making them at the moment due to the high cost of the laser diode and rarity of them. Check with IgorT for a x6 bluray. If its a 280mW red burner your after then I sent a pm about this.
Re: 300mW red burner copper sink $140
I spec them at 270mW+ lately as 300mW is pushing it a bit far possibly some say. It uses a single 14500 3.7V li-ion battery.
Yeah, that sucks- but I can repair it for cost of parts and shipping, so around $12 for the LD and $5 for shipping.
LD are delicate critters. Die so easily!
Re: Custom built lasers:Red/blu ray - choose your
Hey Rob, I've finished the custom sink for your green module.
I used a copper sleeve for maximum heat transfer. ;)
Re: 120-150mW custom green laser $200.
LxD is 130x21mm for the entire laser. The sink is 60mm long as it extends into the host some way. It takes longer than I have tested for the laser to warm up, so at least several minutes.
Re: Custom built lasers:Red/blu ray - choose your
If you have all those components it would be simpler to install a driver yourself unless you need machining? Keep in mind I'm in NZ.
Re: 120-150mW custom green laser $220.
I thought the weight and look of brass would be nice here. I can use aluminium as well of course, its even easier to machine than brass.
