Ive been reading around but still not 100% sure on the differences between the both. I gather that nm is the beam diameter and that the blue 445 is better than the green 532 at burning, but im unsure how what the difference between a 1W 445 and a 1W 532. Would there be a significant difference...

Thanks for the recommendation. I need it mainly for burning, i have various blue lasers but i want a good quality ir laser to add to the collection and to compare. Wont the goggles i have for blue lasers be sufficient enough for an ir beam? Thanks again.

Im going to check out those cases, makes a good home for them as well as making it look more professional haha. My Arctic 3 came with safety glasses i wear them at all times, especially when im burning things. One reflect off glass or mirror could potentially blind me and i really dont fancy...
