Sanwu 7w 445 single mode and multi mode comparison tests?

If you all read through the OP's situation, you'll see that he/she is referring to the multi power modes of the lasers and not the type of diode .. Be careful though ordering those high powered ones from Sanwu. They sell two distinctive lasers at that wavelength. A 5watt one and the 7+ watt...

Sanwu review, 7 watt Spiker, Tri-beam Guardian, 150mw 520nm Pocket

Those 635nm 1watters are definitely multi mode

    Sanwu Guardian 1W 520nm Review

I wonder which diode Jetlasers puts in their 1watt 520s.. I have two of those.. One is dazzler/stun gun, lol! I'm guessing whichever diode, it must be durable

    My new 'Plasma' Electric Lighter.

I've got a couple of those. I don't smoke either. Interestingly, I also have a whole collection of cigar and cigarette lighters. This gold one that I have is super nice And below are some of my butane cigar lighters. Some have little color filaments in them for different color possibilities...

    REVIEW JETLASERS 1W 520NM PLE-E MINI

I'm curious as to what the Sanwu 3x beam expander looks like in comparison to these... I have the J/L 10x beam expander but it seems to just have so much overspray that comes out all around it. I haven't really had much luck getting it aligned enough to get rid of that. Maybe you have to find...

Just got a thor ultra 3W and have a lot of questions...

The life situations should go in this order: 1) Sees handheld laser concept somewhere and curiosity is piqued 2) Gets online and uses search engines to obsessively research the topic and learn all about it and inevitably learn of safety 3) Looks for products that appeal and see what they cost...

    Sanwu lasers

With the batteries installed, when you shake it, do the batteries seem to wobble or shift any? You may need one of those little green spring adaptors that make batteries fit tighter. My Challenger 2 came with one. What do you mean by "screwed in a certain amount of length.."? Or.. Do you mean...

    sanwu spiker issues..........

I'm pretty sure the 5watt diode(7A75) is a closed can diode. I went through all of that with Sanwu back when I bought mine. And I can see the window when I look down into it. Podo told me that their 7watt laser used an open can diode. But that was a couple of years ago, maybe that's changed...

Sanwu Challenger II 488nm beam shots 150mw

Sanwu Challenger II 488nm beam shots 150mw

I just can't help it. Every time something burns in the oven I run up stairs and grab lasers! When the house starts burning out of control, I'll just throw my collection in the car, lol! Now here's a light saber!

Need help with sanwu pocket lens

You may not be aware of this but you can order any laser from Sanwu with most any lens you want. You don't have a tear apart a brand new laser you just bought. I ordered my Silver Series with a G8 lens. Just type "G7 lens" in the notes section where you order your laser

    N465 9MM Laser Diode

When they repeatedly use the term "un coated", is that their tech speak for un canned? Or are they referring to something else entirely, like a literal coating on the facet..?

    7A75 corrected w/3XBE

Ah, good to know.. I like these Sanwu hosts in particular. One of the main reasons I like getting complete lasers from them is that they, aside from being super well made, also seem to be "upgradable" unlike Jetlaser, which are hermetically sealed and glued all up to hell,. If something wears...

    7A75 corrected w/3XBE

I have a 405nm 1+ watt Silver Series laser on the way from Sanwu.. I had them put their G8 lens in it. I actually didn't realize that there was a difference between Sanwu's in house G8/G7 assemblies and the ones from DTR.. I had just thought they were from the same source

    7A75 corrected w/3XBE

Yeah I think my 5 watt blue with that diode is my current favorite. Speaking of divergence, even through the Sanwu G7 lens, it puts a nice clean tight spot on the wall, 20 feet away.. Almost as tight as the M140, just bigger

    7A75 corrected w/3XBE

Yeah I was on a little tangent there. I realize it's a 7A.. I just was wondering about the newest 44s and asked Red since he's always messing with those diodes. For some reason when I see Red Cowboy, I think NUBM044, lol!

You had me at cloud bottoms! Hey btw, are those newer NUBM044 V2 diodes canned(or re canned)?

    7A75 corrected w/3XBE

Very true.. I do also have an overdriven 465nm diode that turns out to be basically 470nm.. Just a lovely range of wavelengths.. I would drool over a. 1 watt 488nm and a watt of 593nm(sunshine gold:

    7A75 corrected w/3XBE

I have a 7A75 in one of my big lasers. It is supposedly a 445nm diode but mine looks more like 455nm to the eye. It's much richer and bluer than my M140 diode lasers, which are legit 445nm. Maybe the higher power output makes it seem like a lighter blue. I'm noticing in your pictures yours looks...

Sanwu Challenger II 488nm beam shots 150mw

I agree with Paul in that if you don't see as much blue as greenish, then you most likely have a +493nm. Mine is not as sky blue as it appears in the later pics. But the first two pics where I'm shooting indoors across stairwell is almost dead on to how it looks to the naked eye.. More aqua...
