well, i guess every thread I start gets ruined. Dont even bother reading

Moh, i have already bought from my supplier numerous times and they are a good company. Lazeerer, i wasn't implying that you did anything wrong. BTW, the BDR-S06J is in fact a 12x diode, but used in the same sled assembly as the 10x diodes. Trevor, the point of a secret source is to not have 40...

Re: GB: SF-BW512 and BDR-S06J 12x Blu-Ray sleds for only $38.50!!! Well thanks guys! Thanks for screwing over my group buy by saying "oh, this company is cheaper"! This is considered a price break because it usually sells for 50.99 single, but i guess that doesnt matter at all. I guess i'll...

    ARCTIC HOST feeler! interested? READ

This is how I imagined it would be set up: It was just an idea; I'm not asking you to actually do it.

    ARCTIC HOST feeler! interested? READ

I meant like instead of a press fit, there would be a threaded tool like in flaminpyro's heatsink pictured below: That would also take up some of the extra room in there :) By the way, I wasn't being disrespectful at all. I dont see how you could take my earlier post as disrespectful, but in...

    ARCTIC HOST feeler! interested? READ

So would people just be putting A140 diodes in there? I was trying to think of a way for it to be more, 'original'. I mean, that would just be like a non-defective arctic. How 'bout a red build, or blu-ray? You know what I want? A way to press and remove diodes, so I could switch out between...

    ARCTIC HOST feeler! interested? READ

*sigh* $75-100 is really gonna eat out of my wallet. I only have 400 in my bank now, thanks to my mom. She actually just went to the bank, and "borrowed" $500 from me without asking :scowl: . edit: I will be getting it all back when my dad gets his next paycheck :)

What's your Dream LASER Diode - IF it were affordable? *Grand Purchase Plan*

Soraa just claimed they made a 4 WATT 450nm diode; cant wait 'till that gets into the hands of the laser community :D

    Rayfoss any good?

I just ordered 22 445nm lenses from Rayfoss, and not only did they combine shipping to save me $20, they have excellent customer service! :) I would DEFINATLY reccomend buying from them.

    O-Like 400mW 532nm (Very Overspec)

Did you mean where the diode is in the DPSS module? or did you think there was actually a green diode there? I am confused.

    O-Like delivery time frame

I did the cheapest option on a pair of safety goggles. It took about two weeks for the order to even ship out, then a month for it to be delivered to southern New Hampshire. By that time, I had filed a paypal dispute already...

DX flashlight hosts without LED parts for half price!

Ok, so everybody here is familiar with using DealExtreme flashlights as hosts for laser building. We usually have to take apart the flashlights to remove the LED parts. But on Dino Direct, I found some of the most common DX hosts with internal LED parts removed for about half the price they sell...

Pimping out the PriceAngels "300mw" MiniRed!

Would this work as well? I think the red color looks cheap.

    O-Like 400mW 532nm (Very Overspec)

The meter is a Laserbee LPM. Search for "laserbee" in the LaserPointerForums search bar and you shold be able to find it. I think it costs ~$280 though :banghead:

    Seller/Buyer reputation system

That's definatly a good idea. Sellers who get -repped for non-business related reasons should not have to look like a bad seller. No more "Oh, that guy has negative reps. He must be a bad seller."
