Re: Lava Micro FlexDrive Driver (lavadrive2) fits
I had similar problem measuring the current via the voltage across R10. I put the meter in the output circuit and measured the actual current. There's no guess work when you do it that way. ;)
I am interested in the square diode housing. How does a 5.6mm diode fit in it? Will it accept a 9mm diode as well?
$10.00 shipped depending on the answers to those questions?
When using a boost circuit you will need the meter in series with the LD to get an accurate current measurement.
The method you outlined will work when using the LM317 circuit though. ;)
I am still on the 1st set of batteries in mine. I can't believe how frugal this laser is with batteries! :D I will be sure to take great care the next time the cap comes off. ;)
I have since cutout a spot for the BR goggles and added a lens. You can also put things under the top layer. I have a magnifying glass and some more batteries in there.
Nice tip Greg.
I got a four pistol case from a gun shop for about $16.00 I got some foam from work (shipped with hard drives) and cut it with a razor knife. This way I still have the original foam.
