    RF excited CO2 lasers

It's actually in Wisconsin still. He said they called him and said he needed to fill out forms, resend etc... I have tracking numbers for both lasers: LC602671504US LC602708249US

My laser has been held up in customs for over a week. However, Chris was nice enough to send another. Hopefully it will arrive soon.

Thanks for the help. I've been out of the laser world for a few months and I'm trying to get back into it.

Can someone post a pinout for the long open can diode? I've been looking around but I can't seem to find one. Thanks!

    RF excited CO2 lasers

Probably was a bit of an under exaggeration. 20 or 30 seems like a lot though

    RF excited CO2 lasers

You don't have to tell me twice :)! I was considering using 18650s as well. How long do you think you could safely run it for with 8?

    RF excited CO2 lasers

I haven't ordered one yet. I was planning on actually doing so tommorow. I have been into lasers for over 1.5 years, so yes I have built lasers, along with other electronic devices.

    RF excited CO2 lasers

I am aware of that. Heruursciences has the PWMs does he not? Do you think the contacts on the batteries would be able to handle 10A?

I was planning 10 amps as was suggested in the original GB thread.

    trip meter

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1133002/protect_your_home_with_laserbeams might be a good place to start. I built one of these but I modified the circuit slightly so it actually stays on after getting tripped.

    RF excited CO2 lasers

That's what I was thinking. It wouldn't be super expensive either and you could probably fit 5 of those in a backpack.

    RF excited CO2 lasers

I'm planning on buying one of these lasers within the next day or so. What do you think about running it with 5 of these?
