3 parallel 1ohm will give ~0.3ohm (unless this is a typo) for 3ohm out of 1ohm resistors you want them in SERIES (one after the other)

fyi the opencan in that pic does look messed up but i see no damage to the bits that matter (gold wires / die) so it should work

its all about your scanning speed too if you have 2 points across the audience and are scanning at 60kpps that will throw the beam over them very fast but you your scanner does not do IDLA if it cant push 40-50kpps with one point either side of the audience, i would not audience scan with more...
