Will be a m462 dpss laser diode. I noticed that they seem to range from 8$ to around 50$. I'm fine with paying more but if they are all the same then I would rather save money. Also what would be the safety margin (e.g. 5 sec of direct eye contact through glasses before possibility of damage)?

I might have room for a tec but I definitely don't have room for another heatsink to cool the hot side of the tec. Also that would use up more power. I don't plan on running my laser for more than 1 minute at a time... I dont really need any thermal cooling systems however I am trying to make...
