Noooo lol. Red lasers only produce red light, no IR.

100mW green sounds good to me. Invest in some goggles

Yea i'm gonna put some pics on here when i've finished it, should be good
Hey again, The new 50mW green on o-like looks nice, but yeah rayfoss or o-like are trusted on this site so you have plenty of choice :D.
    Your red been shipped yet?

i have just started getting bits for my build! decided it's going to be a 300mW red :D! the diodes for it are really cheap haha. :)
So the 200mW red is your first laser? Good choice :D
I personally think you would like a green next. Not a high power one but about 50mW. This wont burn, but point it in the sky at night and it will look amazing compared to red and violet as the beam will look solid, my cheap 30mW green is my favourite laser lol :)
PHR is just the start "code" of the names of laser diodes that come from Blu-Ray disk writers.
    Like that..

I'm going to build myself one at somepoint too woop :D
You have to get rechargeables. You can't go into a shop in the UK (or your location) and buy 18650 cells. That's the only thing i don't like about this hobby, is that everything comes from abroad! lol.

Someone did a review of this model laser - Click Here

I like it, although the beam is not as visiable as a green, and when you focus the laser into a very large dot you can see tiny little defects in the beam, but this isnt really important as you will never use the beam that large.
I think it's fantastic for its price! plus the 18650 cell has a huge capacity so you don't have to charge it up as frequently.
