Heh, thats not even the first time I've burned myself. I'd rather it be my hand than my eyes though!

Ended up swapping out the G2 lens for a 3 element. I know this comes at a cost of some power but the divergence is much better. Beam and dot looks a lot better now IMO, and it still has PLENTY of burning power. It may just be in my head but it seems like it burns better from further distances...
