Hi,
I want to built a high quality red laser driver, and I just found this :
High Performance Laser Diode Drivers and Temperature Controllers
FEATURES:
• Small Package (0.75” x 0.45” x 0.255”)
• Low Cost
• Brownout Protection
• 12-pin, SMT package, Refl ow Compatible
• Slow Start Laser Diode...
Hi,
Probably a bit late, but yes they are still alive.
I have ordered two laser from them, absolutely no problems to report.
As stated on their website:

It is quickest to telephone us directly (day or evening) on our mobile number (+44 (0) 777 578 5574) so we can deal with...
hi,
Thanks for all theses answers, verry informative and usefull.
So giving the advices I would like to find OD2.5 safety glasses for 630nm-680nm.
I do not want another Eagle Pair, mine is inconsistent between left and right glass (right glass has a higher OD than left one).
I'm willing to...
Hi,
I do need new safety goggles because mine have an OD higher than needed.
When using my safety goggles, I can only see the dot if projected to a white surface, and even doing this it's still very hard to see anything... let me explain :
- If i do know before using my goggles where the beam...
Can you please verify this specs and confirm these protective glasses are well suited for 230mw at 650nm?
On one glass I can see :
190-380&600-760nm OD4+ CE
On a paper I can see:
Fourth harmonic generation, 266nm OD5
He-Ne laser emitter, 632.8nm OD4
Ruby laser emitter, 694nm OD4
Alexandrite...
I just was doing it wrong... I was focusing the beam spot on the wall to be as small as possible instead of trying to obtain a beam focusing spot at a few inches of the laser head.
Now it light matches instantaneously! Impressive.
Of course i use my glasses ( eagle pair ).
Yes I do! Indeed they are perhaps to good because when I use them it is difficult to see the laser spot on a white wall even at no more than 1 meter from it.
According to my laser knowledge and previous search on this forum you can light matches with only 100mw for 650nm wavelength (beiing properly focused of course)
If yours does not burn with 350mw output then I'm quiet sure yours is not focused properly or you have placed your match to far from...
Hi all,
I'm new here, i just want to learn more on laser technology.
I have a 650nm 230mw laserpointer (for fun!)
And my little project is to build two laser network card to connect my Home network to a friend home network (distance between his home and mine is aprox. 50 meters.)
Regards.
Hi,
I have just received my 650nm 200mw laser pointer from odicforce.com
Service was great, received it in a few days with powerchecked certificate at 230mw.
However, while it seems to work good (extremly bright, able to see beam spot very far away when tested outside) it seems it cannot...
