Re: Meta Topic : Pinout & Performance of actual LD
True.:yh: It's always a pleasure to see what people can make, so I will browse the forums again, you are the 1st ! good review about the greenie and nice lab :yh:
gillza, I integrated your useful excel
Re: Meta Topic : Pinout & Performance of actual LD
Thanks Eudaimonium !
I was very busy for a long time, and it still continue :/ I'm impressed about your heatsink ! how did you do the 3D picture showing the inside of your host ?
I would like also to add my feedback about DTR, I purchased a 12X S06J Bluray Diode In Copper Module W/Microboost & 405-G-2 Glass Lens and a Sky-Ray SR5 Host Kit :all is perfect. I received the package to France in one week (!) the power is incredible VS my "old" phr803t... On my rare earth...
the capacitors and diodes make a cockroft walton generator. It produce a high electic field (10kV) from a neon power supply which produce 2000 V AC, supplied with 12V DC from a computer power supply. The electric field is needed to clean the unwanted ions and to have a clear view of the events...
i felt in love with nuclear physics !
let me show you some of my result with my wilson cloud chamber experiment, sorry for OFF topic  :
The diffusion cloud chamber is a device which can reveal the path of ionized, subatomic particle, travelling at relativistic speed.
The diffusion cloud...
I missed nearly 1.5 years in lpf, I was very busy.
Now i see that there is 445nm diodes, C-mount. Amazing..
I'm really lost among all these threads, will someone give me some of his time to explain what happend ?
I have some question :
how do you collimate the cmount? with a 445nm "aixiz lens"...
thanks for all your comments , they were greatly appreciated !
:yh:
funny discover : i rent a new appartment, and i was playing with some 405 nm laser , when i see that my previous owner recovered the wall with some invisible ink ! its perfectly invisible daytime. im gonna write on wall too =)
im away for the moment, send an email at terbium @ free.fr if you need some info, i dont check my pm anymore here, lack of time ^^ hope the community will make some progress in the laser diode mods making process, back in 1 year
bye
and the "cerise sur le gateau" pictures :
the path of 1064 nm ! there is no KTP crystal, only the vanadate.
I used some smoke to reveal the beam. Note that the path followed by the 1064 is not the same, a better design would use the same path. Picture taken with a fuji s100fs.

im losing a good amount of 532 nm (maybe one third) when i put some final lens to collimate the beam. Honnestly, compared to some commercial one, i would like to think that the output range is between 30...50 mW. I need to find some coated lens to make a final build.
