Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers **OUT TILL FEB-5TH** CHEAP $180
Received batteries today - thanks for sending them!
I've never seen anything close to this power before. I'll be sure to do a beam comparison with my current collection. Really satisfied.
Bought some glasses for $12.00 on Ebay from...
Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers W/COPPER HEATSINKS CHEAP $180
Thank you, that's good to hear. I've seen Luke's support: it was a selling point to me. I'm really excited about getting this working.

Re: 1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers W/COPPER HEATSINKS CHEAP $180
Received today, but will have to do review later. The package was ripped open at the bottom and one of the batteries is missing. I sent a PM to see if I could get a hold of another battery. Was the electric tape used to tape the...
Another thing:
Wouldn't this driver use 2 AAAs more efficiently in comparison to the flex drive? This is, if you were to use the chip that offered a .3 volt input voltage, then you can drain 3 volts worth of batteries in an efficient manner. I decided to use 4.5 volts worth of AAA batteries for...
I'm looking for standard 12X30mm brass cases.
I found that http://www.mfgcn.com/ sells them for about $7
It looks like DealExtreme has them as well. I also see people selling them with other laser products for about $4. Is DX the best source? I'm not sure I want to go DX because they don't...
Same here. I'm keeping a close eye on this thread. The board size is perfect; no trimming of the pcb is required. The current price is also reasonable. I'm looking to get a 100ma preset one when things have been figured out.
"EDIT: Price would be about 20$+1.50$ shipping each
I'm interested in these boosters as well.
Do you have a "safe" input range for the voltage? It sounds perfect for a single 1.5 volt battery, but I wanted to use a 3 volt host, or perhaps more. What's the highest recommended input voltage?
Thank you,
Matthew.
Does anyone know where I can cheaply obtain blank foil and/or clear plastic sticker sheets? I would like to print out my own designs for my lasers (also for general purpose).
Thanks for any info,
Matt.
The laser! Overall, I'm not pleased with these lasers as they are made so poorly. I may save up the money to get a nova. (Even though I just bought a cheap "100mW" from standstone) :-/
Yes, but they didn't say they would cancel your order if your are an American. The warning that you quoted was what DX initially said before they even had the ban.
