Hello guys,
im just looking through different driver options and there are some upcoming questions...for the case that the answers to my questions are to be found somewhere in this forum, i beg your pardon...scanning a forum for the answers might be possible, but timeconsuming sometimes, also...
@Lifetime17,
thank you for your offer, friend, but i made up my mind now and im gonna build my own casing. I managed to build far more complex stuff than that and got all the tools i need...it would atually be a shame if i ordered someone else to do it...1st im only gonna order the diode+driver...
thank you...im just looking through driverboards on ebay and it seems they all need 12V input..at least the stronger ones, that im looking for? Well maybe im gonna build my own host, its not that difficult after all. looks like im gonna need 3 batteries.
well, now that i think about it, i dont even really know if you need 2x battery...whats the most output power you can/should combine with a single 18650 battery?
hello, ive asked myself a couple of times, why my Laser has such a short beam....the strongest one i have is a 1500mw Blue Laser, now i cant say how long the beam is, might be 2km or only 500m, its hard to tell...in any case, the beam suddenly stops, it doesnt get weaker or thinner, its bright...
Hello guys,
i deceided i want to build my own lasers now instead of buying complete ones. Thing is they are very overprized in EU and US and if you buy in China, you can get some pretty good deals but its hard to find anything more powerful than 1500mw blue lasers...
So what i have in mind is a...
one more thing, i just figuered out that i got 2 unused battery-packs for handheld akku-drillers here. It would be nice if i could just use them, because they are already in a nice black casing...one is 18V and one is 14,4 Volts. What would happen if i put the 14,4V on the driver? can it also...
well i dont use Googles? I know people use them for burning stuff but i wanna see the beam...why should i burn things with a device that can blind me, pretty uninteresting, i prefer a gas-torch.
the googles that came with the laser...the ones that look real sketchy and can be bought for...
hello,
id love to post a link here but im not allowed yet. Ive spotted a 5W Laserdiode inc. a big black heasink with fan and driverboard is already attached, a 12V Powersupply also comes with it. For sure you are familiar with this lasers, they are sold for this carving/burning/cutting machines...
my enercig arrived today...i spent quite a while looking at these results from:
edit:cant link...battery test review, the site with the charts and graphes, you probably know.....
and the enercig are among the best while being cheaper than some of the others...well they are also blue but it...
do weak batteries also affect the output power or only how long you can use the laser before recharging? isnt the drivercircuit supposed to always create a stable and defined output-current?
thx for letting me know its not a social forum, you may not believe it but i didnt expect it do be :)
I just saw the "Welcome" thread and felt a little obligated to use it.
Yes i knoe the 303s but its not what im looking for. Going from 1500mw blue to a 80nm doesnt seem to make much sense to...
i already orderd 2 more battery sets from Fenix and enercig...both are supposed to deliver whats printed on them not like the blue Ultrafires that came with the package.
