Just saw this comment and have been gone for quite awhile. So here is my reply, albeit somewhat late lol. Yes I did. The Spartan 589nm is Nd:YAG+LBO. 🍻 Anyway, will be hanging around again and will have to dust off my equipment and start taking photos again. Hope you are doing well Hap!🍻🍻🍻

    Great American Eclipse.

Thanks guys! Wow, small world indeed! Two 589s in da skook how about that, lol! As far as this setup for these pics, it was by the seat of my pants. I literally just carefully secured my eclipse glasses over my camera lens using my smartphone camera to line up the shot...

    Great American Eclipse.

Just wanted to add my photos of the eclipse as seen at my home here in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. Eclipse totality for me peaked at 74.1%. Hope you all had a nice day! TOTALITY! 74.1% TOTALITY! 74.1% Eclipse GIF: Well, hope you all enjoy! Glad I didn't...

    445, 515, 532, 589 and 650nm compilation

Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to taking more pics soon, have to figure out some new ideas too but that is what makes this fun. :) Thanks dead! I try and make it that the fog is not part of the photos as best I can in post processing and I use a simple oscillating fan to help give me...

    Golden laser?

I completely agree, love mine too! Nothing like having a ray of sunshine in your hand!

    Photobucket just deleted;

Photobucket got me too and I also switched to Imgur. Photobucket is so full of intrusive ads and is completely worthless now, hope they disappear. Imgur is working perfectly for me now and is very easy to use.

    445, 515, 532, 589 and 650nm compilation

Hello everyone, it has been a long time! I have been a way from here for a while but wanted to come back around and see what's new. I have come back to find that Photobucket has destroyed all of my photos in all of my old posts with their photo-nazi policies, so I have decided to create this...

Nope, haven't heard any more about it. DL just said that CNI keeps that secret and no one will ever disclose that. My last conversations I have had with others is that the NLO is either KTP or LBO as their guesses. So unless someone tears theirs down and can run tests I won't ever know lol. :)

Tritium - The self-luminous light source, and $30,000/gram!

The tritium tubes are still glowing strong on my 10 year old Luminox Navy Seals watch. :D

What are the best science fiction movies?

I agree with everything mentioned and would like to add Moon (2009) with Sam Rockwell to this list.

    An Apology for Everyone

Strangely, I also just received that message from the same person. Make that twice.

    Why does this happen?

I made myself thirsty so I grabbed my 515 and that works nice too! Some Dewar's White Label there. :D

    Why does this happen?

Lol thanks! I don't know why I decided one day to do that probably due to the whisky lol but when I saw the result I thought it was cool. :D

    Why does this happen?

I like the effect of my 532 lasing through a clear glass of whisky, get a nice gold beam through the liquid. :)

    An Apology for Everyone

Watching all this unfold was as dramatic as an afternoon soap opera...I would have to imagine it won't be much of an issue to remove that banner now as it does not link to anything anymore. Oh well, small businesses are always much more likely to fail than succeed as I have learned in college...
