Ehgemus, if the host is still for sale what would shipping to UK be? Don't want to sound silly but I guess there is space for a flexdrive circuit behind the aixiz module? How is the heatsink/head of the host joined to the body, is it threaded or some other method? thanks.

Pretty much the same as proud2deviate above. I have an ledshoppe 50mW and it has a nice heavy feel to it, it wont burn, but it has a lovely nice tight green beam which appears to have good divergance. I am very pleased with my laser and it is better than I expected.

Yeah, I was considering purchasing one of these diodes, but I am sure glad I didnt as over $100 is a lot to loose. Sometimes when you buy diodes they say there is no warranty with them, but I would hope the sellers would offer some kind of goodwill gesture to their customers?
