Yes I'm big on the slow motors compared to the faster ones I have Jerry, using a 4RPH motor in this one and I find this speed & similar RPH ideal because you can really concentrate & appreciate more detail before whatever you're seeing morphs into something else ;)

Indeed and yes it's adjustable. I can set it anywhere between 100mA & ~600mA which is its range in low power...
Thanks for your feedback, that seems to be the case with the driver being made for just one cell because it's a mini boost driver and I missed this previously reading up on these
X-Boost V7 input voltage range is 2.5 to 9.0 volts
X-Drive V6 input voltage range is 3.4 to 16.0 volts

My PS is dead unfortunately, I can't test with it until I replace mine.. I have tried different batteries though to rule out bad cells but that same thing happens.

Is there a battery contact spring inside the tailcap you can stretch & lengthen a little by pulling on the tip of the spring with a pair of tweezers? Have you also tried a small spacer between the cells?

I dont think its concerning but Im not surprised because these diodes aren't necessarily installed for extraction. I've never seen something like that as a bullet under 'features' before. Clearly proves we've been noticed yes, lets just hope it's not an irreversible feature from removal ;)
