    Another interesting video

Haven't been here for a long time... Came across this video, thought i share it with everyone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcGgaa2mFc4

    Presstek 40W IR diode

Well,i'm now using it anymore. It was just for fun. The 808nm cant be really used for something practical. I wanted to use it for a CNC engraver. Finding a lense for this thing and a fiber cable is really hard. The laser diode costed like 250$. Not really that expensive but really not usable for...

    Close enough :D

445nm HELP laser Suddenly not burning, but still bright :(

Probably because unplugging from the driver. The only way of fixing it is by buying a new diode. You can see a lot of threads on this. There is a search bar on the bottom of the page. Fill up your location and other info. :)

Looks like a Dead diode. Sorry :)

    laser driver schematics?

Google is your friend. Also, there is a search bar on the bottom of the page. There are countless threads about this.

my first success, from lg blu ray bd530

I can only presume that is working for you cause of the foreword voltage drop. If the diode is below its operating voltage,it will draw very little current. So you have maybe found that point... Where did you read about that kind of driver ? Also, dont look at the beam, and dont point it on skin...

my first success, from lg blu ray bd530

Why would you do that... A laser diode is a DIODE! it needs current limiting! The diode is most likely dead. Take a photo of the beam. The reader diodes work at very small currents <100mA.

    Wait....directly from 7805 to diode ?

    stepper motor help

I see two ways. Connecting the pulse input signal to both drivers or connecting two steppers in parallel and driving them with one driver. When connecting 2 drivers on the same pulse line its good to have a sync pin on the driver so they can be perfectly in sync.

High Voltage (42V) Boost - Schematic Review?

2.4k seems ok (depends on the current you want). You can use online zener diode calculator to double check.
