In Kipkay's video:
cheapy lighter laser burner,
he says:
a blue (wich is actually violet but ignore that) diode in a mini module.
Get thease parts at the description below, and the link he gave was a 650nm 5mW diode in a mini module O_O
blue diode? where??

thank you the module comes with a 5mW diode in it he then replaces it with the violet diode

can you give me a link to the violet diode + a link to this module in another website please?
(I have issues with the shipping prices to Israel)

dont follow kipkays tutorials its a bad idea and all the links he gives you tend to be overpriced

haha you got that right
but he inspires me with ideas... so now I want a mini module and a violet diode for cheap

P.S
the funniest thing is his titles
he says:
CHEAPY lighter laser
and the parts cost like a 100$..

ok just to let you know the whole idea is impractical the diode has very little heat-sinking and the battery's might last 30 seconds

really? if you tried you could of found it in less time than watching that video

can you google? hightechdealz, and modwerx are good stores

yes but they sell the PHR diode.
is it good for this build?
BTW, HTD are pretty damn expencive...
17$ for the PHR you can find for 10 in modwerx.. but modwerx has a high shipping price.

10 bucks is a pretty standard price for a phr-803t. But yeah, you live in Israel and Modwerx is in the States, so shipping costs are going to be high, that's just the way shipping around the world works unfortunately. :(

Yes but HTD shipps to Israel with 7.50$ only.
I already ordered a PHR and a blank module, cause I wanted to fit the hole laser inside the module for cheap:
4*button cells, a 60 ohm resistor and the switch.

BUT, when I connected the red diode with a 60 ohm resistor it emitted the dimmest light ever. (no lens yet but still) so dim you need to get an inch close to it to see the dot.
so I'm afreid driving it with just a resistor is not good enough and I wouldn't be able to get the hole laser inside the module :(
