Discovering physics - Light on lasers

I just finished uploading a video I have had for some time. Because the video
is 24mins in length, I never bothered to upload... I hate 10min 'clips'. I am now
able to upload 2.5hr clips, and figured it was time to share this one...

The point of this thread is to post laser related, but not related as in
'my cool lazer' etc. The idea is to post videos of an educational nature..

Why does it seem all the really good videos explaining things are usually really old. Unless it's a kipkay style Youtube and not to many details are explained...


Where is there goggles in the 1st video?

Seeing the pulse shape made me laugh. When most of us calculate peak power, we assume the pulse is perfectly square.
For example, "a 1J 1ms pulse is 1kW peak."
