I have 3 of these lasers for sale. Graphs will be added in a bit.

All three use 2x 16340 (CR123A) lithium cells, or
non rechargeable 3v photo batteries can also be used.

Lenses are Glass AR coated aixiz. Drivers are current
regulating buck only.

The drivers barely get warm to the touch and are not
wasteful. Maximum battery life is the goal here..

Other lasers I was making with 7135 based LDO drivers
generated far too much heat. These new drivers are as
efficient as I could find.

Asking price is 299. shipped to USA or Canada.
Shipped 2day express + tracking for Canada and
4 day expedited with tracking to the USA.

International shipping to overseas will be through FedEx
with tracking only.. Cost for shipping via FedEX will be
dependent on location.

Included in each sale is as pictured. The soft carry case
is also included for each.

I will not be shipping these with batteries due to customs..

Each laser was made one at a time. As noticed with some
hosts there is a level of tolerence for sizes. Each heatsink
was made to match its respective host. These lasers are
solid from top to bottom and come with a 1 year warranty,
full parts and labor against defects.

Treat them well and they will live a good healthy long life

*EDIT* ALL 3 SOLD

Those look sweet!

How about some specs on divergence, output power, duty cycle and battery life time? :yh:
Or a video of it in action.

I finished these yesterday.. I will update today with
a few graphs.

Divergence is typical, no corrective optics involved...

Run time by the looks of it so far is 4 mins on from a cold start
and 5 mins off. This is if you leave it on 4 mins straight.
Running intermittently requires less downtime..

A fresh charge will get you approx 1hr of use between charges.

Here is a quick demo video.. Target is glossy white wax paper...
To my surprise it caught fire... lol, didnt expect that one

Re: 1.3W+ CopperHead Handhelds For Sale.

I tested 2 of them so far, here are 2 of the graphs.

ignore the typo, these were two different lasers,
just similar results..

The drop in power comes with the increase in temp.
Using the lasers in 'bursts' would keep the output
higher.

*EDIT.

Removed graphs, for updated versions... My old meter
was under reporting, the new graphs will be posted
shortly.

Re: 1.3W+ CopperHead Handhelds For Sale.

Just got this today. The host is magnificent, the case it comes with is also quite handy! Feels great to hold!

Without having the proper range goggles, (The goggles and this laser were shipped the same day.. laser from CA, goggles from TX. He won the race. Go figure :)) the best I can do is shine it into the great infinity and hope nothing from Reagan Nat'l is in the area haha.

But the beam is absolutely gorgeous. I'm apprehensive to shine it at anything closer than 10' without protection because of the whole "strong enough that a reflection could blind you" deal.

But, just looking at the beam, it is seriously stunning.

Thanks again :)

Re: 1.3W+ CopperHead Handhelds For Sale.

Im surprised it got there that fast... Canada post
has been stepping up their delivery time lately,
and that is a more than welcome change.

Until your goggles arrive, avoid using it indoors
unless you are in the center of the room, and
watch your angles if any reflective objects are near by.

You can always make the dot a bit larger and you dont
have to worry about a thin beam and reflections.
Remain cautious of your surroundings regardless.

There are 2 left folks! One of them may be spoken for
but nothing in stone...

If interested, post here or PM.
