I ordered an Evo Pro in 100mw power late Sunday night(more like 1am monday) from my hotel room in Atlanta,Ga where I was staying on business. It arrived at my house in North Carolina on Wednesday.Epic Shipping.
Well, I am home for the weekend. So after greeting the kids, I did a quick check of my Evo Pro.
The power chart says my 100mw unit peaks at 120mw....a minimum of 110mw then settles down to 115mw.It slices red plastic fast.It is also lots brighter than my epic 40mw Evo Pro.
A couple of important points:It has zero defects in it's finish. It is immaculate.
The threads are superb on the tailcap.Smooth and excellent finish.
The actuation button is different from my 40mw.It is more oval, and a hard plastic. The 40mw has a rubber button.
IT COMES WITH A CATALOG WITH GOOD INSTRUCTIONS!!!
I shouted that part for a reason. The Evo's typically arrived with no indication whatsoever on how to install batteries...which is an objective fail.No more...the book included has "dot shots" with various defects depicted, which will be an aid to noob troubleshooting.
I have not the time for a full test with pictures, so here is my impression now: Ultra Epic win for me, this laser is perfect!!!
It shipped freakin fast!!!
Wicked's documentation is now a 10.Not only do I have good instructions, I have a power printout for my laser too.
I know this company has been...controversial as of late. But I will say this:They are 3 for 3 for me.I have bought a core, an Evo Pro 40mw, and a 100mw Evo Pro.All were excellent in performance.
I like Wicked Lasers.A lot.I hope this offends no one...but for me so far...excellent.Beamshots and distant dot shots next weekend on the 40 and the 100.
Right now, I am very happy with 60mw more for 10 dollars more than my 40 cost!
Epicness.

More impressions on this hectic weekend:The Evo 100mw lights a red paper match...in less than 1 second.A cute trick even if it is stereotypical.Beam quality and brightness is Epic.It looks like .9mm diameter and very good divergence.Rain in combination with refrigerator replacement preclude a review post at this time.My kids missed Daddy as well, so it was all I could do to do this.
Next weekend I will post a review in the proper thread...with extras.
Thanks for reading this!
