Nothing odd here. These guys are just resellers of Dealextreme. They even copied the pictures and description. And the price is not that cheap either ($47.99 at DX).
DealExtreme: $47.99 100mW 405nm Blue-Violet/Royal Purple Laser Pen (2*AAA)
one-unlocked.co.uk's violet laser pens still seem a bit cheap considering they are violet laser pens, one-unlocked.co.uk's violet laser pens are probably missing ir filters or are not at the mW they claim to be.

it just seems too good to be true they are selling them at that price, I would feel more comfortable buying violet laser pens from www.megagreen.co.uk, even though they cost a lot more.

You wont find ir filters on any violet pointers...because they dont put out ir.

missing IR filter on a violet pen? LOL

about megagreen: They list the 405nm lasers as "UV Blue", they state that a 5mW "UV blue" pointer has an amazing beam with some fog (definetly not), and they sell it for almost 100$ (cough cough cough cough and cough a lot more). They resell the typical 200mW red laser in a waterproof housing for 150$ :)wtf::wtf::wtf:) and they also sell a 250mW green "STARPOINTER" that was 1100$ (sure lol) for only 460$!!!

Definitely a place I would avoid.

I wouldn't know, I only started researching about laser pens the other day, I have been mainly researching about green laser pens.

I only say megagreen.co.uk because many people in the uk on this forum have been happy with their green laser pen purchases from there, even though their prices are high, another reason is because I am sticking to buying laser pens from uk sites only, I can't be bothered with american sites and waiting longer for them to ship out laser pens to the uk for me.

I have actually ordered my first green laser pen which is 50mW from digitaldaffodil.co.uk for £34.99, I could have purchased a 50mW green laser pen from one-unlocked.co.uk for £24.99 or from impactpc.co.uk for £15.99, but those websites seemed too fishy to me.

Well, then pay as much as twice the price to a company that is just reselling products from sites we already know.

Check the laser section on dealextreme.com and O-like.com Do you see something familiar?

Yours,
Albert
