House GOP demands Clintons appear for depositions over Epstein.​


WASHINGTON – Congressional Republicans have summoned Bill and Hillary Clinton to appear for depositions next month in front of a panel investigating Jeffrey Epstein.

The former president and secretary of state were called to answer questions from the GOP-controlled House Oversight Committee on Dec. 17 and 18, respectively.

Rep. James Comer, a Kentucky Republican and the chair of the committee, said Nov. 21 that any attempt by the Clintons, longtime political rivals of President Donald Trump, to avoid the depositions would be in defiance of congressional subpoenas.

You and I watched very different press conferences. Trump was squatting in his chair, fawning over Mamdani. Looked to me like he had gotten up on the wrong side of the bed.

I just watched MTG's announcement. She blamed Trump for her decision, saying that she would have to try to defend him after Republicans lose the midterms. She said she would have to run after Trump spent millions against her and she will not be a battered wife. Hilarious!

A federal appeals court has stayed an order issued by Judge Sara Ellis, which restricted the use of force by federal immigration agents in Chicago. The court found the order "overbroad" and called it "unworkable," particularly in light of allegations against the agents for using tear gas and other forceful measures against protesters and journalists. The stay was granted following an appeal from the Department of Justice, which argued that the order interfered with the lawful duties of federal immigration enforcement officials.
