Nonsense, stop lying, democrats are holding the budget hostage because they want funding that states will use to give benefits to illegal immigrants.
When food stamps run out, people are vowing to steal groceries, and the aftermath will be on democrats who are holding food stamps hostage for illegal immigrant medical benefits, your democrats are going to lose your low-income voters over this.

Trump's approval rating went down 7% from a high of 44% when he took office to just 37% now. Congressional Republicans fair just as badly. They are blamed far more than Democrats for this shutdown.

You only blame the polls when they don't go your way. Trump and Republicans are always happy to cite them when they are going your way. Otherwise, they are flawed.Don't hold your breath.

Well, polls often are slanted towards democrats, and we have seen how polls can favor a democrat such as Hillary Clinton, yet she lost anyway.
Remember how certain you were that Trump couldn't get reelected?
You said too many people wouldn't allow it, and yes the deep state did all they could to stop Trump.
Fact is Trump will be POTUS for 3 more years and democrats won't get any legislation passed, even if democrats did somehow win in the midterms (they likely won't) but even if they did, democrats will be ineffective for at least 3 more years, Thank God!

Democrats will be able to stop Trump. That is the main thing. They can also impeach him, yet again. No one deserves it more. Maybe this time Republicans will have the intestinal fortitude to convict him. Trump is the worst thing that ever happened to the GOP.

You are dreaming, it's not going to happen, even if democrats did win in the midterms, ((( BIG freaking IF ))), and put on another dog and pony show impeachment, you will never get the votes to remove Trump or override a veto to pass any democrat legislation in the next 3 years.
Your far left sanctimonious hypocrite democrats went way too far, democrats weaponized government and pushed a Marxist race/gender based policy and voters rejected it soundly, democrats won't be in power to affect any legislation for at least 3 more years, quite possibly a lot longer.
