Wtf is going on. Maybe instead of a Third World War, we will have a First Interstellar War. :alien:

That was originally reported by WH to be a balloon, but was walked back later during the press conference. I posted about it at the time of the press conference, but didn't change my post when they called it an object. My guess is it could still be a balloon with the cylinder attached.

Mike Pence's house in Indiana was searched by the FBI yesterday when at least one more classified document was found there. This was done with the approval of Pence negating the need for a search warrant.
Again you didn't provide a news article. Either you have a bad memory or are purposefully doing this. One infraction.
Its not hard to post a link. Here's one.

Heck even a link to google is good enough

A Super Bowl ad tomorrow will be aired with the sole purpose to decry Tesla's full self-driving tech:

What are everyone's thoughts on this and full self-driving in general? Could this blow up into a big issue soon?

With 400,000 of these currently on the road I would want more oversight. There have been many accidents reported by autonomous vehicles in the U.S. over past years. Elon Musk seems to care little about this as he pushes to gain more market shares.

Like every new technology there are gonna be some kinks that need to be worked out, but self driving is definitely the way of the future. Of course there will be some mishaps, but hell there are lots of crashes as of now with human drivers. Real comparison would be number of crashes per mile driven for self driving vs number of crashes per mile with human driver. Always a balance of avoiding overregulation that stifles innovation, but enough regulation to avoid excess risky behavior.

It just needs a light bar on the top and chrome plated off-road bars on the front to plow wimpy mopeds out of the way.

I was nervous about sharing the road with automated programs driving fast heavy vehicles but now that I think about it with the way people are on the road already it might be an improvement in safety.

The rules of the road in every state includes people being aware of the vehicle's ability to navigate the road. Many accidents happen when drivers ignore the road and are not ready to take over for the vehicle's autonomous program. One such accident occurred when the people inside the vehicle went to sleep. This happened a couple of years ago.
