I’ve heard Lasence and Optlasers are good options for some inexpensive yellows. But they don’t make the 575 anymore is that right? Lasence has some 561 but it’s more like a chartreuse/toxic green
That is my understanding too. I believe you maybe able to find 565nm DPSS lasers. They aren't exactly a pure yellow color.

Lasence has 571's which are pure yellow to me, though the stability you get is hit or miss.

UPDATE: I received the 589nm Spartan on Monday and I haven't gotten this dumb look off my face since I first turned it on. :D
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to own a yellow wavelength and a DL Spartan at that! @Atlas87 was generous enough to include the beam expander as well which I wasn't even aware existed.

I was saving the excitement for a bigger post/review but things have been nonstop with the holidays and university so it's gonna take a few more days. In the meantime I've been collecting plenty of pictures and measurements on the laser and enjoying it very much. Think I might have to pick up some atmosphere aerosol and mirrors for it to reflect off of to really put on a show.

Here is a sneak peek (edited for accuracy since my camera seems to think it's orange):

More to come, thank you

Yeah, I remember when I first got 589. And I started with the Aurora 5mW too. Amazing to see those golden yellow photons. 589nm is one of those wavelengths where you see colour differences depending on the light conditions you are using it. It will look more yellow in bright settings, but a bit more yellow/orange in darkness. Either way, it’s a beautiful wavelength of which has now become rare again. Enjoy!
