Hi Hobbyists

I am looking for a machinist that can turn some threads on Aluminium tubing, to create a host. Will discuss the details of the build later but the main requirements are a 20mm thread on a 22mm tube ( x3 )

Also......

Anyone in Germany, the EU or UK that has a spare 5.6mm and 9mm press set for sale ( including the sleeve) .... Let me know

Thanks team
J

Some thing you obviously know but throwing it out there.
Why not have one of the Vietnamese builders make some for you. Shipping will be a little expensive but not all not all that bad.

Hi GSS
Yes they or DTR will be my backup option, but I thought I'd ask and perhaps a near-by member has a spare set :)

in the short, you can always use a vise and the back half of an axiis module. You just have to place a piece of leather, rubber, or wood, so as not to damage the diode receptacle

Did the module trick for many years, then i shaped up my own 5.6mm press, but im after a nicely machined set, like DTR sells.

Still if anyone has a spare set, and your in the EU, PM me

Thanks team !

Still looking for a press set for sale in the EU ... perhaps we have a machinist also in the EU that could shape/turn a 5.6mm and 9mm Press Set up?

Best regards Members and Good Health!

There have to be thousands of machine shops and machinists in Germany, Maybe have a look in a local directory of businesses?

Is it not the Germans who invented the tools that made the tools and love machines of any kind?

A google search of "machine shops Germany" might be fruitful
