Hello fellow enthusiasts I have a custom sanwu build from sanwu I would like to part with. I asked podo if he could stuff a 1.2W 525nm into a challenger host and he definitely delivered however I forgot to tell him I wanted the smooth style host. I still like the laser and its maybe a month old but I prefer their smooth hosts over the grooved ones so I'm willing to sell it to get the one I really wanted. It has an open can diode in it with a glass "Dust cover" set over it to keep debris out but it's just not my style I suppose. Takes one 14500 size cell and that is not included. I wont ship a battery with it sorry. It's still spankin new and I can print the purchase info for the warranty but I would really like to just get some return on it and purchase a smooth style host like I wanted. I paid $400 for it and I'm asking $350 for this since it's still brand new but I'm willing to negotiate but not much. Shoot me a message if you're interested and we can see what happens😁20190421_013012.jpg20190421_013103.jpg
I have more pics and can put my LPF username in a pic with it but I dont have an imgur or anything like that but get at me and I'll do what I can to really show it. Thanks for reading and be safe and happy lasing!

Was the 1.2w 525 not offered in the challenger? I thought the 1w green was. Maybe in thinking 520?

Anyways, that's one of my favorite hosts of all time. GLWS!

You would be correct they offer the higher power 520nm challenger but not the 525nm. I wanted a direct diode closest to a 532 from a good quality company like sanwu and the closest diode they use is 525nm.

That's pretty cool! I didn't realize there was a 1w direct 525 as well as a 520!

Does anyone make the 532 anymore? A 1w 532 would be killer.

Far as I know most if not all 532's are pump diodes and the higher power ones are pretty pricey too. I think 525nm and 532nm are very close to the same shade of green just looking side by side. You can usually find lower power 532's all over the place but higher rated ones usually require a but more searching or do like I did and ask a trusted manufacturer to make something up for you.
